My Reflection

February has been a lot of spinning my wheels, or at least that’s what it felt like. It rained enough that weather became a barrier to hosting pop ups. Recognizing Mother Nature is going to do what she wants and the earth needed the rain for healing, February became a month of patience and self discovery. This also made me realize, I need multiple funding streams.

I wasn’t eager to start a whole new side hustle, so I passively started building an online book shop (click the bold to visit site) with Bookshop.org. The returns are a little meager but my output is also very minimal. Bookshop.org is a Certified B corporation which makes me feel good about partnering with them. They also take care of all the shipping, inventory holding and taxes. What more could a girl ask for? Family has supported by shopping on my site. It always feels nice to be supported.

I had also started focusing on social media more consistently which honestly is starting to feel like a dead end. I won’t eliminate my pages. I will simply start focusing my energy on building the actual website. I have connected my website to my socials so I should still be posting regularly as I update my website. My intention for March will be more thoroughly developing my business plan. Thank you for reading my musings.
